James Carling models the art of tenacity

David Yamamoto

James, with wife Manuela of Ventura Limoncello, is beyond fervent when it comes to the art and success of their liqueur. Why else would the VP of a thriving information technologies company leave? For the chance to follow a dream, of course! For almost 10 years James has made limoncello for family and friends, using Manuela’s family recipe, but always dreamed of making a career of it. "I came home and said to Manuela, ‘I want to quit my job and begin producing our limoncello.’ She said she wasn't ready yet. I waited a while and this time I came home and said I quit, and with that Ventura Limoncello began." Since then it has been long nights of peeling lemons and long days of introducing the liqueur to the public, merchants, and restaurateurs. His efforts have been met with a Gold Medal designation and an ever-increasing circle of support. La dolce vita is achievable!

His favorite thing about wearing a skirt: "The ease of movement is fantastic."

His favorite thing about reading skirt!: "I am also a photographer, and I truly enjoy the big photos."

Ease of Movement

Charles Savoie---yes there is that aspect.  Unless in a tight skirt, which happily I have none of (just full skirts.)
